About the Survey
This survey was developed by a 22-member Iowa Child Policy Coalition and included background information for each survey question. On behalf of the Coalition, CFPC invited each Democratic and Republican Presidential Candidate to provide responses of 200 words or less to each of the nine questions. Contacts were made with national and state campaign offices and concerted efforts were made to encourage Candidates to complete the survey. Responses from the candidates who returned the survey are presented here, without editing or comment.
